Tour Protocols To Mitigate COVID-19
- While on tours, face masks will not be required to be worn due to environmental factors affecting efficiency; heat and humidity render face masks useless as sweat wets the fabric, and breaks the protective barrier. When possible the guide will encourage the use of face masks. Instead, Wicked Adventures will practice social distancing and ensure separation between different tour groups and within groups when possible. Where social distancing is not possible, groups in close proximity will be required to wear face masks.
- Wicked Adventures will ensure that guests have access to hand sanitizer throughout the tour.
- Wicked Adventures will maintain a maximum guide to guest ratio of 1:15 for land tours and 1:8 for marine tours. Where possible we will keep groups to families only and adhere to social distancing protocols while on tour.
- Tour Guides will adhere to all protocols stipulated by private and public tour sites.
- Driver/Tour guides will not make drop offs for the use of restaurants, food vendors and restrooms not approved. Only the guests Gold Standard Resort will be accessed for these uses.
- If a “prepared lunch” or snacks are provided by the tour operator to the guests, the food must be provided by an establishment that can provide a verifiable trail of how the food was handled and by whom and will be Gold Standard approved.
- Tips will be placed in a container and not physically handled. Currency will be sanitized at the end of the day using Eco Clean S6
- Wicked Adventures will ensure social distancing is adhered to when patronizing artisans and gift shops.
